Our Story
High school sweethearts who chose a different path
Sandy and I spent decades doing what you're supposed to do — building careers, climbing ladders, ticking boxes. I led large teams across telecoms, contact centres, and education. We had the house, the routine, the lot.
Then we asked a dangerous question: "What if we just… didn't?"
What started as a 12-month experiment became a complete life redesign. We sold up, packed the motorhome, and hit the road full-time. Five years later, we're still going — with over 70 house sits under our belt, thousands of kilometres behind us, and a way of life we wouldn't trade for anything.
Along the way, I kept working. I wrote a memoir. I built a coaching program. I started speaking about the journey. Turns out, you don't have to choose between adventure and career — you just have to rethink what both look like.
